Lo' everyone ! Today we are going to explore  and try to form a Capsule wardrobe on the given prompt of choosing a specific market, an occasion/ prompt, season and its Apparel and accessories must haves! Ohh, it sounds fun .

Okay so let's see, I feel like going on for my ladies and gals right now, so the market will be women's wear, but let's add a twist now, let's go ahead with my  plus size diva's over here. Then the occasion can be, umm, office wear, casual library - Cafe- Gelato Saturday, movie night , airport look or......Beach wear !!


 Okay so it's decided ! Let's create a Summer beach Capsule wardrobe for lovely plus size divas. Sometimes women with a bigger and curiver body frame may not feel very comfortable with their bodies and avoid  wearing beachwear. But hey ! summer is for EVERYONE ! And those extra curves deserve to be flaunted with the right outfit ! So let's compile a Capsule wardrobe to slay this summer !

Go with bold Colours !


Prominent colours like White , Black, maroon, Navy blue, darker shades of Sap greens and brown for swimwear,  enhances these rare curves and puts them to use! These colours help to define proper shapes and curves.

While walking on that hot sand, or soaking in that yellow sunlight or while posing for the summer photo dump, one can complete the look with some thin, flowy printed pullovers, Hawaiian shirts, knot tops etc. Let the flowy fabric add a little more drama to your photos !


Don't leave the maxi dresses and skirts

Take out all those flowy, printed long skirts and colorful maxi dresses each one of us has in our wardrobes, but never wore.  Small , playful motifs and prints add a cute girly look to your outfit .

Shirt up girls!

Who said shirts are only for Formal looks?! Shirts are never off duty ! After weeks of office work, put them back on, and pair 'em with your bikinis . Believe me, this combo always hits the spot !


Let sarong take the charge

Don't underestimate the power of Printed Sarongs people ! They can effortlessly work as the statement piece for your lovely waistline curves. Pair printed Sarong  with plain in colour  but dramatic in cuts bikini ; or create a monochromatic look by pairing a crop top (amazing if sleeveless) with complimentary printed sarong to nail the look.

Accessories are a MUST !


Believe me , for those  ' Something - is - missing ' moments, Accessories are the remedy. Add a little bling with minimalistic pendant and ear tops or  ditch the neck piece with a dramatic pair of hoop earrings. A bold pair of sunglasses can be another powerful set of uplifted for your look. And when sometimes, less is NOT more, try going with shell jwellery .  A head gear like a hat, bucket hat, flowers or Bandana can also bind this beachy look. A jute bag of any size or a small sling purse would be helpful to carry those sunscreens and lotions.  Don't forget to add atleast one accessory to this ensemble !

Don't forget the footwear

Well, the sand feels super hot and the outfit is still incomplete without a appropriate pair of footwear.  Going ahead with bold shoes or sneakers sounds about right.  Crocs wouldn't be my personal first choice, but they do manage to work it up and give a pretty chill and slight tomboy look ( which sounds fun to try ) . And Slide ons?! Hell yeah! A simple, bold, minimalistic , black, pastel etc, any kind of slide ons or slippers  would hype up your hippie look. So go ahead, it's a guaranteed alook saver !

9)Slide ons, crocs , slippers or shoes

Here, I have complied a ( voilet - lilac themed ) beach wear Capsule to compliment and give atleast 2- 3 looks for a plus size curvaceous queen.
