Trends in the market

The markets are Dynamic and one can trace the trends gradually making their way through people's minds. Trends take time to form, but unlike fads, create a way deeper impact and a stronger foundation.
Observing keenly and patiently is the key to to track the progress and declines of the trends. Here are few trends and their current positions in the market !

INTRODUCTION : Underwear as Outerwear

Lingerie was the main look for the fall of 2022. It has gradually yet strongly proceeded through and is predicted to make its way in the new seasons too ! Rihanna , Ellie Goulding, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Kourtney kardashian baker, Harry styles are some of the main patrons of this rising trend.

INCREASE : Thick platform footwear

The sandals, Heels, slippers , shoes , the classic Mary Jane's, wedges allll of it have been elevated to a higher platform. The thick-based foot stylers have been in the markets from the beginning 2022 and haven't seen back since then. The sales have been only increasing and the style has been effortlessly aiding the need of the hour look.


PEAK : The Clean Look

Since the past few years the source of Inspiration has been evolving through the roots of escapism . We have seen multiple trends such as Gothcore, Emo style , Fairycore, etc which have a fictional source and are less attainable than this new ' Clean Look ' aesthetic. It has been taking over the social media with flash speed recently. It can be thought of being very close to' Model- Off -Duty' look.
It is sophisticated styling of some of the staple pieces along with a very restricted neutral colour pallette of Black ,White, grey, ochre, and beige, or monochromes. All this is accessorized with gold jwellery, sleek hair bun, modern sunglasses, and complimentary footwear. Then it is completed by a smartly planned, No make up , make up look.
Models like Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Hailey Beiber effortlessly seem to be on the the promoting front of this trend , that has been only sky rocketing in its terms of its popularity.

DECLINE: The Square Necks


It has slowly walked through between the Renissance, Victorian and cottagecore aethetics. It gently scoops the neck and highlights the collarbone and shoulders. It had started with promising longevity, yet seems to be sneakily fading away.

OBSOLETE : Bell Sleeves

It won't be wrong to address the noticeable exit of Bell sleeves from the trend chart. It has become obsolete and feels way out of the place if used now.
One can notice, that we have been subconsciously indulging in these trends based on their positions or stages. And this is how their place in the market quietly shapes our wardrobe !
